The thought or dream of starting a new business is very appealing and creates a sense of hope. Sure we all know people who have done it and succeeded, but we also know people who have done it an failed. Starting a business takes more than a dream. It takes a concise business plan and a straight forward vision. Often times we try to create something new and original and it winds up failing because the vision is bigger than the actual plan. The prospect of grant money and/or eager investors is compelling, but don't get caught up. The grants we all seek require a lot of paper work and responsible accounting. I'm not trying to dash anyone's dreams, I want everyone to succeed. But more so than that I want everyone to be prepared. GOOD LUCK!
